What Is a Sacramental Emergency?
A sacramental emergency is a situation in which someone is in danger of death and urgently needs the presence of a priest to receive the sacraments, particularly:
- The Anointing of the Sick
- The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)
- The Apostolic Pardon with a plenary indulgence
This includes situations such as:
- A serious accident
- A critical medical condition
- Someone actively dying or in hospice care
If you or a loved one are in such a situation, please call the emergency number and leave a voice message with your name, phone number, and a brief description of the situation.
This number is reserved for sacramental emergencies only. For all other inquiries, please contact the parish office during regular business hours.
